Last
week I took Grace to a big kids fest charity event in Rittenhouse
Square in Philadelphia, to a friend’s dance recital, and capped off the
week at a free outdoor concert in the park by our township building. It
was reinvigorating, reassuring and downright fun to get out and have
new experiences with Grace (especially seeing how well she handled them
all!) During the concert last night, Grace leaned back in the way that 2
year olds love to do and I could see the blue sky and the clouds
reflecting in her eyes. It was the most beautiful sight. In that moment I
said a prayer of thanks for this perfect moment and our evening
together.
